This Is The Rainy Day
This storm has been around for quite some time now. It started on Friday and is still here and has knocked out some wireless coverage for some people.
I heard a tree squeak today. What does that mean when a tree squeaks? Of course, when a tree makes a cracking noise, then it’s going to fall down, but what’s a squeak?
I’m planning to donate my old magazines to a library. No, most libraries don’t accept donations, but this one has a system where people can drop off magazines in an area and other people can take them if they want. It works like a swap kind of, though you’re not obligated to give in order to take and vice versa.
I had three meals today. Aren’t you proud of me? I ate a restaurant today that is nearby my apartment. I’ve seen it before and have always wanted to try it and so, I finally did. Here is my review of it.
Oh yes, I’ve discovered Yelp. Okay, I didn’t “discover” it, but I discovered how wonderful it can be.
Lately, I’ve been listening to One Republic’s “Come Home” lately. It’s a really nice song. There are no drums in it at all, or any that I can hear anyway. And of course, there are a few lines in that song that remind me of a certain someone that I shouldn’t be reminded of.
Speaking of music, and also the fact that I just looked down at my iPod, I’m starting to try and reorganize my music now. Lately, I’ve been using my SanDisk Sansa Express since iTunes fucked up my iPod, but I miss the iPod. That and because I don’t know if I can sell it with 1) my full name and 2) the words “breast buddy” engraved on the back. Besides, I wouldn’t get paid much for it anyway since it’s an older model, so I might as well keep it, right?
Anyway, the magazines are calling me. I’ve got a pile that I haven’t read through yet and I feel awfully bad that I subscribed to Time with hopes of educating myself and I’ve barely read one entire issue. Damn it.
