This Was The Night Of New Things

Goodness me, last night was definitely a new night of things. Blah, blah, blah, the day started off normally with work then my doctor’s appointment. Afterward, I met up with MJ and her housemate, XG, to go see Sex and the City (again, I know) since they hadn’t seen it. Even though I knew what was going to happen, I still cried. I know, I’m such a sap.

Afterwards, XG, invited us to go to a bake party and we had agreed to go, but I needed to pick up my birth control pills at home first. When we got there, my roommate mentioned that there was a frat party she wanted to head out to, so I decided to go there instead. I knew that MJ wanted to go to since it was her birthday and she wanted to not be spending the night in a mellow way, which would’ve been the party.

By the time we decided that, however, I had already set a reservation for the rental car (MJ had forgotten her license and we were thinking about going to go drink and her place is very much up the hill), so we ended up dropping S to the place where she needed to be. We returned the car and were walking back when a car pulled over next to us and the boys inside invited us to a house party. Me, being in my frisky mood after having watched the movie, I told them that we might show up, but it wasn’t certain since we were planning on going elsewhere. However, I made note of the address just in case. When I told my roommate, SS, about the invitation, she seemed interested, so we headed there first before going to the original party (which we never made it to).

When we (MJ, SS, SS’s friend, and I) first arrived, there were few guests. Well, there was a bit of people, maybe about 20 or so, but not enough for us to mingle with. We were making plans to head out to another party, but decided to wait since I, and another one of SS’s friends, had pitched in for the beer run and wanted to get our beers before we left. When the beers came, we didn’t leave right away and stayed for a bit. Luckily we did, because guess who came? The Irish. Yes, I know, I’m a sucker for cute white boys.

Since I work at the market and see quite a few people, I recognized some of the Irish boys that had come in during my few shifts there. We introduced ourselves and got to talking for a bit. It was a bit of an awkward start since I was a bit shy, even though I felt more assertive than I had ever been previously. I ended up wandering a bit around the first floor and on my way back to the party area, I ran into one of the Irish Boys, M. We had been flirty with one another for the whole night, so when I ran into him, I asked him to dance (I know, I never do that either!).

Well… one thing led to another and the next thing I know, we’re standing on the side of the house (outside of course), just making out. I have to admit… it was pretty good. The only bummer is that he purposely wanted to leave a mark on my neck and I tried to stop him (by nudging my head into his), but he wouldn’t budge. When I came home to check in the mirror, the mark was fat as all hell. I’d say it spans about one inch tall by 2.5 inches wide. Yes, it’s that big. Luckily, I learned a technique a long time ago about how to help cure those, so this morning, it’s not looking so bad.

Anyway, the party ended up getting busted, but that was fine because by that point, I was trying to find SS and MJ in order to tell them that I was heading out. I could’ve stayed, but I’m not one to try and hook up with more than one person during the night, so I wanted to head out. Maya had been talking to a guy during the party (she’s got a boyfriend back at home) and he offered to walk us back. Since my house is closest, we walked back to my place first. When we got there, I noticed the desperation on Maya’s face that she did not want to walk him with this guy, so we had to convince him that she was going to spend the night with me. It took quite a few tries (since he was drunk), but he finally let her stay. We chatted for a bit until it was past 2 a.m. since I wanted to call the escort van service to have her taken home safely.

And yes, that was all last night. Like I said, a night of new things, no? I met someone new, I saw a cute naked dude in the window (we were walking by and I noticed a light on the third floor of a building and there in all his glory, was a naked man - with a cute butt), I got invited to a party randomly as the guys were driving down the street, asked a guy to dance, made out with said guy on the side of a house at a party, and saved a friend from a dude she didn’t want to spend more time with.

All in all, it was a good night. That Irish boy was really cute and in my opinion, all is fair game until someone wants to be exclusive, right? Thank God I have sleeveless shirts with a high neck collar, or else I’d either 1) die from the heat of having to wear a turtleneck or 2) show the whole world that I had gotten busy last night. Speaking of getting busy, I could tell the Irish boy wanted to do something a little bit more, but I had to tell him that I wasn’t that kind of girl. I’m not, really. I need to feel comfortable with someone first and it needs to not be so… skanky, like at a party.

Anyway, I’ve got to eat, got things to take care of, all that good stuff.

This Was When I Walked

In the last two days, I have walked around so much. On Tuesday, I met a girl while waiting in line to get my (legit) bus pass. I noticed that she was new (the map gave it away), so I offered to hang out with her so she could get to know the city a bit. She called me later that day and suggest we hang out on Wednesday.

I met up with her, MJ, and then we went to San Francisco to go shopping. She was planning to go today, but she would’ve gone alone and I don’t think it’s that much fun. It’s fine to go shopping once you know the place and are comfortable enough to walk around like so, but if not, then it’s better to go with someone, right? Anyway, we walked around so much! We went through all four floors of the shopping mall (there are eight, but the last four are for one department store). I bought quite a few things since almost all of the stores are having a sale right now. I bought shoes! I know, I know, I have a lot, but these are different, I swear! I met up with her at noon and after we were done with everything, I finally got back to my apartment at 10pm! I know, that was a lot of shopping in one day!

Today, I met up with her again and my other friend, JYL, to get a manicure and pedicure. It was a good experience. I really like the salon that I go. They’re very nice and very friendly. The woman who does my nails does a really good job. I also like that she cuts a lot of my extra skin. MJ wanted to go and get other stuff done, so after that, we split. JYL and I went down another street to do some window and grocery shopping. There was a nice windbreaker that I found, but I don’t know if I want to pay for it. It’s really nice and it would be perfect for these chilly summer nights, no? Well, I know where it is and where I can find it if I want to go back.

Tomorrow is Friday and I don’t know what I’m doing yet besides work and seeing my doctor. He wants me to look into getting school insurance since my dad’s insurance is going to run out soon (they only cover 45 sessions a calender year and I’m almost done with them all). I did look into it and the school insurance would cover 80% of the cost ($110), but I don’t know if it’s worth the money. I mean, sure, I’d save a lot of money still since the insurance is about $640 for the semester, but I don’t really know. It’s a lot of money to spend still and since insurance isn’t going to cover any tuition fees next year, I don’t want my dad to pay for it, you know?

Anyway, I should go. I want to upload the new theme on my main site.
