This Was When I Walked
In the last two days, I have walked around so much. On Tuesday, I met a girl while waiting in line to get my (legit) bus pass. I noticed that she was new (the map gave it away), so I offered to hang out with her so she could get to know the city a bit. She called me later that day and suggest we hang out on Wednesday.
I met up with her, MJ, and then we went to San Francisco to go shopping. She was planning to go today, but she would’ve gone alone and I don’t think it’s that much fun. It’s fine to go shopping once you know the place and are comfortable enough to walk around like so, but if not, then it’s better to go with someone, right? Anyway, we walked around so much! We went through all four floors of the shopping mall (there are eight, but the last four are for one department store). I bought quite a few things since almost all of the stores are having a sale right now. I bought shoes! I know, I know, I have a lot, but these are different, I swear! I met up with her at noon and after we were done with everything, I finally got back to my apartment at 10pm! I know, that was a lot of shopping in one day!
Today, I met up with her again and my other friend, JYL, to get a manicure and pedicure. It was a good experience. I really like the salon that I go. They’re very nice and very friendly. The woman who does my nails does a really good job. I also like that she cuts a lot of my extra skin. MJ wanted to go and get other stuff done, so after that, we split. JYL and I went down another street to do some window and grocery shopping. There was a nice windbreaker that I found, but I don’t know if I want to pay for it. It’s really nice and it would be perfect for these chilly summer nights, no? Well, I know where it is and where I can find it if I want to go back.
Tomorrow is Friday and I don’t know what I’m doing yet besides work and seeing my doctor. He wants me to look into getting school insurance since my dad’s insurance is going to run out soon (they only cover 45 sessions a calender year and I’m almost done with them all). I did look into it and the school insurance would cover 80% of the cost ($110), but I don’t know if it’s worth the money. I mean, sure, I’d save a lot of money still since the insurance is about $640 for the semester, but I don’t really know. It’s a lot of money to spend still and since insurance isn’t going to cover any tuition fees next year, I don’t want my dad to pay for it, you know?
Anyway, I should go. I want to upload the new theme on my main site.
