This Is When I Upgraded

To Wordpress 2.5! Well, for this blog anyway. I’ve yet to do the big blog, but that, I promise you, will be soon. Now that I don’t have a job anymore (I got fired early), I can finally do the updates on my site like I’ve been wanting to for the last few months now.

I must say that the new Wordpress is pretty sexy. If I could… I would do it. Kidding. For the most part.

Oh yeah, so about that getting fired thing. Well, when the manager finally came back to the store, she decided to give me a call and let me go. I asked a few of my coworkers and one mentioned that she was really upset about the fact that I changed my hours without letting her or anyone else know. It doesn’t really bum me out or depress me; I just hate that she beat me to it, you know? I was planning on quitting anyway; she just beat me to the chase, that’s all.

I still have my other job though at The Daily Cal. Oh, and I’ve decided to do what Julie suggested; keep this site and my web design site separate.

What’s left on my list of things to do? Read lots of books. Right now, I’m reading Eleven Minutes by Paolo Coehlo. So far, it’s a good book. Though supposedly, it gets a little… hot… near the middle. But hey, it’s a story about a prostitute, what else can you expect?

Anyway, let me know if there are any bugs and whatnot due to the upgrade. I’m really liking their automatic upgrade deal. It’s very handy indeed, though I don’t believe that it gets everything, such as if the link has changed or if it’s a really large set of files, I don’t think Wordpress deals with that, but it’s okay.

Good night folks!
