This Is Not That Easy
I am at my parents’ now. I’ve been here for about a day and I leave again tomorrow. The only reason why I came down was for a dental checkup. Hey, as long as I’m still on their insurance plan, I should milk it, right? I’m coming back down again in two weeks for a family thing.
Yeah, I forgot to blog yesterday. I went to work, finished early due to not having saved all of the work for Friday. I watched the Ugly Betty season premiere before I left and then I watched the Las Vegas 2-hour season premiere when I got home since there’s a TV here. There’s a chance my family might be getting a plasma in the event that they can’t fix the TV.
I’ve been doing some more reading on Freakonomics. I’m almost done with the core of the book. I have one chapter and a few more pages to read. I still have yet to study for Accounting though. Shame on me. With my luck, I won’t sleep tomorrow night.
As for today, not too much happened. I went to the dentist, bought some curtains, went home and napped. I had a talk with Stockton Boy quickly that brought up some more questions which resulted in my calling up a good friend, C, to ask for advice. He had a lot to offer, like he usually does, and I appreciate his advice. So now, I’m thinking some more, but at least I’m finally letting SB in on what I’m thinking about instead of bottling up my emotions thinking that whatever it is that’s bothering me will go away.
Anyway, I’ve got to finish that book now.
