This Was Not Exactly Smart

So, I did a stupid thing this morning. Somehow, and only somehow, I justified going out at night, after midnight, by returning a DVD at Blockbuster and that I needed to walk. Now, where did I walk to? SB’s apartment building. Yes. That was me. I did that. I was thinking about scaling a nearby building to get closer to his open window, but after realizing that even if I got up there, I would have no particularly safe way of getting down since I am bad at jumping, so I scrapped that idea. That did not mean, however, that I did not sit in front of the building for quite some time while writing in my journal, freezing my hands off.

By the time I decided to go, I had missed the night safety shuttle. There was another one coming, but it was going to be half an hour later. Sure, I could have waited because my next decision would have taken longer. I thought that in a particularly bad time like this, I shouldn’t be left alone, so I called up MH and asked if I could crash for a few hours until I could get a proper transportation method to get home besides walking. I feel kind of bad since he was studying for his statistics final and even though that’s not until Thursday, I was partly a distraction. And then the bastard had to ruin my pride by blackmailing me to sleep on his bed (alone). I was just about ready to crash on the floor and then he says, “No, go sleep on the bed.” Now, mind you it’s about three in the morning, so I think that eventually he will need his bed to sleep. Unfortunately, we are both stubborn and his stubbornness found a weakness in mine, so I slept on his damned bed. I left early in the morning once I knew the buses would be running regularly again and then crashed on my bed.

Now I am baking a cake for two friends of mine and am going to try and dye my hair again once I pull the cake out of the oven.

I know, I’m not thinking straight and I’ve been thinking about a lot of things, things that I will post on the main blog later.
