This Was The Concert
Oh my goodness. I am so tired. I’m not even sure if I can remember the whole day.
First, to work I went. Actually, I received a call from a hometown buddy of mine, RN, who said he was coming up to my town and wanted to hang out. I thought it was going to be right away, so I was going to spend time with him before work. Turns out, it wasn’t, so to work I went.
I only stayed for a few hours since I had a career center appointment. I had scheduled it in hopes of finding out what would be a good place for me to start my job search and stuff. I still have a broad idea now, but at least I have the steps I need to start looking, you know?
After that, I met up with RN and his father. RN is going to move to my college town and may quite possibly be living in my apartment building. I was already excited to hear that he was going to attend the city college, but became even more excited to hear that he may possibly be living one floor below me. How awesome is that?
Friends, I’ve noticed, are just about the only things/people that can make a person truly happy.
Since RN had to go back to work and I was already planning on heading down to my hometown anyway, I bummed a ride off of him. I made a quick stop at the library and picked up Vampire Kisses. I’ve started reading it and so far, it’s interesting enough to keep me locked in. I don’t know how it will finish, but if it ends well, I’ll continue reading the second and third books.
And the moment that I was waiting for came a lot sooner than I had expected. Since RN works near my hair stylist, I figured that I would have the time to stop in and get my hair cut. Yes, my hair has been cut. Yes, there is a picture of the cut. Yes, I will get that uploaded at some other time in the near future. It feels so weird still. I keep running my fingers through my hair only to be surprised with that run gets cut short. Yes, pun intended. I also don’t have hair on my back when I sit nor do I feel a heavy flow when I quickly turn my head.
I think the cut looks cute and I know that having short hair knocked off a few attractive points for me, but that’s okay. I’m not on the market right now to look for a new boyfriend and I really don’t need one at the moment either.
Afterwards, my two friends, MP and NN, picked me up and off we went to The Spice Girls’ concert.
I must admit, it was awesome and worth every penny. Yes, I have loads of pictures that I will get uploaded some other time when I’m not so tired.
All in all, this was a relatively good day. Now, since it was such a good day, I’m just going to sit back and wait for the cycle to come around with a bad day.
