This Is Only Noon
Six hours later and I am finally home. I walked through so many stores and got sucked into two mall vendors, one for a pillow/neck thing that you put in the microwave and is supposed to make your shoulders (or wherever else you use it) good, and the other was a hair straightener. I know, I know, I shouldn’t have but she did the demo and my hair turned out so good, I had to. Actually, I didn’t. Truth be told, for both of those purchases, I flipped the coin. The vendor chose the side and if the vendor won s/he would get the purchase and in both cases, the vendors won.
I was able to get Christmas gifts for most of the people on my list. There’s a few more that I might shop online for just because it’s easier. I ended up getting a lot of stuff for me though.
Oh my goodness. I’ve never seen women so crazy before. I showed up before Macy’s opened and just as it did, I saw swarms of women running all the way to the handbags. It was completely crazy. When a sales associate had to restock the clearance bin, she actually had to yell, “Do not take the purses off my hand!” several times and so loud that I heard her from down the hall. Crazy women I tell you, crazy. But it was either that crowd I had to fight or the tech crowd and I figured that crazy women were more my forte since I’m crazy and all too. Just not over handbags.
I know I should nap and I know I should gift wrap and I know I should study. I just don’t know which order to get it all done in.
