This Is Aggravating
So I stayed at work extra long today. Why? Well, MD, a co-worker, she was supposed to take care of a particular task in the department. We entrusted her with that task and that was all she really needed to do. However, she had not been in the office for more than a week and her work is very time sensitive. If things don’t get sent out in time, then people get angry. We’ve been losing clients due to the lack of timeliness. Anyway, so I called early in the afternoon to see if she would be coming into the office today. She was unsure if she would come in, so I told her that I would take care of it. Now, for her, she would have gotten it done in about an hour where it took me about two to three, mostly due to my inexperience with that task. Anyway, it got done, but I had to shell out over $100 to send some items overnight. I’ll get reimbursed for it, but still. We shouldn’t have to do that, you know?
Anyway, I saw Transformers today with SB. It’s such an awesome movie. Not in terms of plot or anything, but the effects were fucking awesome. Then we started to watch Finding Nemo, but he had to leave early. So now I’m deciding on either sleeping early or watching my TV shows.
There’s more on my mind, but I might add it later tonight. I’m currently on the phone with CV; I was supposed to call him two weeks ago, but it kept slipping my mind. I know, bad me.
