This Is Something
Today was a rather long day. But I blame the fact that I had been up since about 4:30 in the morning finishing up my homework. I really either need to stop doing that or stop goofing off when I do try to do it.
The House M.D. season premiere was tonight. I’m kind of excited to see it. I didn’t really like the season finale too much because it didn’t keep me on the edge like season two’s finale, but it still did it’s job of making me want to see the new season.
I’ve had a sore under my tongue for at least a few days now and I don’t know what to do. I’ve been eating a lot of greens and I even had a cup of mung beans the other night, but no luck. It still hurts and it hurts the most when I either wake up from my sleep or nap since my mouth hasn’t been opened in a while. Oh, and it also hurts when I try and brush too. Damn you mouth sores. Damn you all to hell.
Today was an alright kind of day. I went to work and did as much as I could. When I realized there was still about an hour and half before my next class, I left and tried to take a nap on a bench. It kind of worked, I think. Well, I know it was a dose, but it wasn’t a nap because when I got up, I wasn’t really rested. But hey, at least I got to put my head down somewhere, right? I was also hoping to nap elsewhere this afternoon, but that plan was foiled.
SB and I went shopping for my outfit for the party. I must say that I like it, but I’m not too stoked about it. Does that make sense? I mean, it’s a good outfit, but I feel as if it’s not the outfit, but since it’s just for the night and there’s a small chance I’ll ever wear something like that again, it’s alright. I don’t need anything too fancy then. I did see an outfit I would have enjoyed to put on, but it was on the expensive rack of costumes, so I didn’t want to waste anybody’s time by trying it on. I always enjoy trying on different clothes just to see how I would look with that particular style, you know? It’s as if for a small second, I can get a glimpse of what I could look like.
After shopping, he took me home where I proceeded to take my long awaited nap. It was so good that I slept through my alarm, but that’s okay. It wasn’t for anything too dire. Now I am awake and may be awake for just a few more hours until I decide to conk out again. I’m deciding on what class I should work on and I might do some more reading of Freakonomics since I need to turn in a topic by this week to my GSI. So on that note, away I go!
