This Is A New Start
Of everything pretty much.
This weekend and week has gone by both quickly and slowly. Or maybe it was just the three previous weekdays that have gone by quite slowly. Today went by faster than I expected. I woke up, when to class, work, which by the way was way too fast than I was used to since everybody showed up and had gotten everything done by the time I got there. Then I went to go pick up some DVDs at Rasputin because HPB did not have the two movies I wanted to pick up. While at Rasputin, I also picked up the first season of SatC because the movie is coming up next year.
After that, I tried to stay awake, but unfortunately, that didn’t work out so well. So I napped. However, I was woken up by a phone call for some machine shit and then just as I got settled, my roommate, S, came home and was on speakerphone with her friend for a while. S has a tendency to talk loud so I had a hard time falling back asleep until I decided to get up and use ear plugs.
When I was a little more conscious, I watched GG’s first episode. I figure if it’s anything like, or close to, The O.C., then I’ll enjoy it. Since then, I’ve been on MSN for a while with a friend from Israel. He’s a good person despite how… um… much of a guy he can be.
Next on my list tonight is homework and lectures. What fun. Well, that’s what I get for neglecting my studies this week. I know that my depression is no excuse to do so, but I honestly did not feel like doing anything productive except sulk and stay in bed all day. I think that my depression also affected my appetite because I’ve been getting full on pretty much nothing. I had a small piece of cheese sticks and got full already.
It’s so strange to see how much depression can affect someone, you know? And it’s not like you see it coming either or you expect it and when it hits you, all you want to do is nothing. So pretty much, this whole week has been a bust, in terms of productivity anyway. But I found some good songs to listen to at least. So I guess it terms of academia, I’ve done very little.
Anyway… the homework awaits.
