When Today Was A Bit Aggravating
I don’t know exactly why I’m in such a crabby mood right now. It kind of went off the second I realized that I had missed the bus to go back to my apartment from SB’s. I didn’t really have much of a reason to be so crabby considering that I got on another bus about five minutes later, even though the second bus would have dropped me off an extra block farther than the missed bus. It wasn’t too big of a deal, but I just got really crabby.
Maybe it was set off by the fact that I had bought an allergy medicine a few weeks ago for about $27 and today, I saw an advertised sale for $18. My plan was to buy the new ones for $18 and then return the same box I had just bought, but with the receipt I had bought the first one with. However, this medicine just happens to have pseudoephedrine in it, which is used in the production of methamphetamines. So in order to buy it, I had to go to the pharmacy. I ended up hopping on a bus to go to another drugstore since the one I was at was quite small and didn’t have the products I wanted. I figured there, I would return the newly bought drugs. When I tried to return it at a regular cash register, they weren’t able to do it and directed me to the pharmacy… which closed as soon as I got there.
You could imagine my frustration with that.
Nothing else between the time I got back from getting my items and going back to my apartment really aggravated me. But since the bus incident, I’ve been a little crabby since.
I’m weird, I know.
Anyway, I’ve been unpacking my things and am about to get ready to go to church tonight.
Oh, I had forgotten to mention that I was lucky enough to hang out with an online friend on Friday night. I met her online about a year ago and have become relatively good friends with her since. Luckily, she doesn’t live too far from me and had invited me to a comedy club to celebrate her birthday. It was a good event and the comedian wasn’t all too bad.
Okay, church time now.
