When Today Was The Day I Needed To Write
I know, I know. I haven’t been here! And SB didn’t even help!
Let’s see here, Monday was… spent with SB since it was his birthday. I spent most of the day with him while running errands. He was supposed to go volunteer, but I kept him from it.
Tuesday was my busy day. In the morning, I had forgotten about a play I had to attend for class. I had packed my gym clothes and taken it with me until I got to AAS and remembered the play, “After the War.” I figured since I had to leave in a few hours, I spent that with SB and didn’t stop by my apartment. I had dinner with the class, then hopped on the BART to SF. The play was alright, but I have a lack of true appreciation for theater arts, so perhaps it was a really good play? It was about people who had to adjust to the return of the Japanese Americans after World War II. It portrayed different types of people from different cultural backgrounds.
Yesterday was just a whole lot of procrastination. I finished what I needed to finish, but I wish that I hadn’t wasted so much time.
Tonight, I have a paper to write by two o’clock tomorrow. It’s just the first draft, but I figure if I start out strong and well, there’s less work later on this weekend.
I’m trying to figure out what I need to get on my next two Stats quizzes and final and from the looks of it, I need to ace almost all of them in order to pay with at least an A-. I know that an A is definitely out of my range since I lost quite a few points from the previous midterm. As for my other classes, I’m not sure where I stand just yet. There’s a midterm coming up next Wednesday (as well as a Stats quiz) so I need to study hard for that. I don’t think I’m going to get many As this semester. I’m pretty confident with my music class, so I’ll get at least one. As for the rest, I have no idea. I won’t fail, that’s for sure, but it still won’t be a great GPA.
Anyway, I should get going. I just have to keep reminding myself that the semester is almost over. Just six more weeks.
