When Today Was A Quick Day
So I have learned the importance of those night safety shuttles… they are very safe. Well, minus the fact that hearing the bus make so much noise for all the little bumps, it seemed like a good way home. I could have called an escort, but I knew that they would have directed me to the bus lines anyway and I didn’t really want to walk anymore considering I had walked around enough for today.
It was hot again. I would leave my apartment building and the second I opened the door, the heat slapped me in the face. Sure, I know it’s only in the high 70s, but goodness me. I’m almost dreading summer now.
I’ve decided to change my school schedule a little bit now. Since I no longer have to attend a lab/discussion for Mondays, I’m going to group my three classes into one chunk instead of having a two-hour block followed by a two-hour break and ending with a one-hour discussion. I’ve asked my GSI if I can attend his earlier section on Mondays instead so that way it’s just one big three-hour block. Sweet.
I’m surprised that for all the shit LNS is asking me to do, I was able to get most of it done today. I have one of two progress reports and have already gotten my statement of intent to register signed. The next thing I need to do now is write that letter explaining why my grades are the way they are and then fill out a program plan so they know that I’m serious.
It’s somewhat late now, but I need to finish my homework. Rawr. I can’t wait until SB comes back so I can see what the final look of his room is going to be. Right now there’s a bed in the room, but he’s going to get rid of that. Hopefully by tomorrow, he’ll have started putting his touches in it. I’m excited.
Anyway, time to get going and to get to bed. I need to get up early tomorrow to get started on a project. It shouldn’t take no more than 2 hours, but since I’m doing this myself without anybody else’s help and since I need to stop by the hardware store before I begin the project, it’s going to take a while. I just hope I won’t be late for class.
