When Today Was A Late Start

So I woke up awfully late today. It was most likely due to my lack of sleep during the week and I guess I used this morning to catch up on it. After waking up, I got into a cleaning frenzy so I swept and mopped the floor, cleaned the tub and toilet. Next on my list is to vacuum tonight. I figure if both of us shed that much hair in the bathroom and kitchen floor, how much hair is there on the carpet? Gross, I know.

Tonight I had dinner with my old dorm roommates, AL and SW, at House of Curry. The two curry dishes we ordered were spicier than we had anticipated. All I wanted to do by the end of our meal was eat plain naan to try and help my burning tongue. Afterwards, I stopped by AL’s apartment since she had some mail for me. I knew it was going to be junk and not to my surprise, it was. Well, minus the issue of Cosmopolitan, but all the letters were junk.

Yesterday went by pretty okay. I caught up on a few TV shows such as The OC and Grey’s Anatomy. I started watching a new anime, Gunslinger Girl, which seems quite interesting right now.

During the day, I occupied my time by going to Target. I had a few things to pick up. Okay, now that I think about it, there were only four things on my list which were: shirt (for SB), rain boots (which they didn’t carry for adults), cereal, and ranch. I only bought two things on that list and ended up with a dress, pair of dress pants, black towel, and more shirts than needed. As for my rain boots, I’ve decided to go to the shoe store tomorrow (hopefully if I have time) and either get regular boots that are elevated or actual rain boots, depending on their selection. I can’t wear high heels for too long because it hurts my flat feet. Damn them.

After that, the night was uneventful. I didn’t really study too much and just cleaned up here and there. As for today, I started doing some statistics problems, but then got distracted when I decided to finalize the list of music I wanted to transfer to SB. Isn’t weird that nowadays, people don’t need to make a CD to give to their loved ones; they just make a playlist and transfer it.

Well I suppose I should get to vacuuming then studying and getting work done.
